Employees install it themselves
Each employee installs the agent from their own portal, so nobody finds it on their laptop by surprise.
What employees can see
The employee portal shows people their devices and what was blocked.
What you must tell them
Our acceptable use policy requires you to tell employees what is monitored. Cover at least:
- which controls are on, for example web filtering and DLP,
- whether their device has activity monitoring switched on,
- who can see the data, and
- how long it is kept.
A suggested message
We are rolling out Aavishield on company laptops to protect customer and company data. It blocks risky sites and apps, and records when sensitive data leaves a device. It does not block your normal work. You will install it yourself from the employee portal.
